Challenge:
The board of directors for this community were disappointed with the communication efforts from its previous management company. When the community partnered with Associa CMC, it expressed various concerns: landscaping issues, an upcoming roof project left unsupported, and homeowner sentiments of being left in the dark.
Resolution:
Associa CMC first worked with board to establish a proper communication strategy. Access to TownSq, the all-in-one app for managed communities, helped significantly. It gave residents access to documents they needed and improved communication among residents, the board, and the community manager. Secondly, the management team connected the board with a qualified roofing contractor and provided oversight until the roofing project was complete. Communicating with the board on a weekly basis, keeping homeowners up-to-date on all relevant matters, and addressing homeowner and board member concerns in a timely manner has promoted teamwork and lifted morale.
